What: Spatial Cognition
Who: Kai-Florian Richter, Christian Freksa
When: Wednesday, 10:00-12:00
Where: MZH 5300

What:

The seminar's aim is to provide an overview on the research field spatial cognition; at the end of the semester participants are
supposed to have good insights into the kind of questions addressed in that field: from basic psychological research to
computational modeling issues and assistance systems.

The seminar covers fundamental work from a range of different areas of spatial cognition research, with a strong bias towards
humans' acquisition of spatial knowledge and wayfinding. It focuses on questions of representation and modeling. The seminar is well
suited to be visited in conjunction with the "Cognitive Systems 1" lecture, but can, of course, be visited equally well in its own right.
