Since autumn 1998, we are equipped with a robot lab and one
pioneer robot.
This robot type
was chosen, since it is a very common platform, allowing us to compare our results
with those of other groups easily. Furthermore, other robot groups located in the same department
(e.g. IMA) are using
them too, allowing us to share experiences. Working with robots is also great fun and encourages to lots of experiments, so we made up a page with lots of interesting links an useful information on robots and even some information on how to build your own, so check it out. |
