Implementation SIMSIS

The aspect map model has been implemented as the object-oriented shell system SIMSIS (System for the development of Intelligent Methods for Spatial Information Systems) in Macintosh Common Lisp. (An online documentation can be found here)

The realization of the theoretical concept of meta-knowledge allows for modeling correct interpretations as well as examining misinterpretations.

The above spatial reasoning example has been completely specified in the system. Reasoning alternatives based on various types of interpretations can be performed and visualized.
