Aspects & Aspect Maps

Every map shows only certain aspects of the geographic world.

Aspects are specified as properties of and relations between geographic objects, e.g.

Aspect maps are spatial organization structures for representing one or more aspects.

To solve a given task only few aspects are used by extraction from an aspect map and can be represented in an aspect map by combination processes.
