Housing

The conference will be held at the Stadeum at the 1000 year old city of Stade, Germany, near the outlet of the Elbe river into the North Sea, 30km west of Hamburg. Accommodation will be available in the Parkhotel Stader Hof adjacent to the conference center at a rate of EUR 60-70 / single or EUR 42 / double per person and night (includes a large breakfast buffet). All rooms of the hotel have been reserved for COSIT '99 until 28 June 1999. Additional accommodation is available nearby. There is simple opportunity for outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, sailing, tennis. There will be also an excursion planned to a grand nature resort at the Elbe outlet, during the conference.

Transportation

Participants arrivingby air should fly to Hamburg International Airport. Stade can be easily reached from Hamburg (airport or train station) by Elbe-City-Jet (scenic ferry ride) or by train, bus, or car. Check out our conference homepage for more information on how to reach Stade.
